The largest of the Kapama Private Game Reserve camps, River Lodge’s wide, open spaces and airy design are a constant reminder that you’re sleeping under the African sky. River Lodge’s spacious air-conditioned deluxe suites have uninterrupted views over the Big Five game reserve from any area of the room or private patio. The 60m2 suite is a perfect balance of rustic elegance, modern industrial and solid oak craftsmanship finish, up-to-date room technology. The full, en-suite bathroom comprises natural stone finishes, an open rain shower, a deep soaking bath with views of the Africa Bush and lavish amenities.

Tucked away in the privacy of the russet bushwillow trees surrounding our African spa, these suites feature magnificent floor-to-ceiling glass doors and frameless windows that offer expansive views of the reserve – even from your bathroom.
For those looking to find their zen, the spa suites come highly recommended, as does a spot of yoga from the privacy of your patio while overlooking the magnificence of the bush. Each suite is equipped with en-suite bathrooms, air conditioning, coffee and tea-making facilities, a minibar, as well as a lock-up safe and international plugs.
